JL Ambassador 2015G10-FX2™ Recessed 20 lbs. Fire Extinguisher Cabinet with Lock

The Ambassador Steel FX2™ is a durable, attractive steel cabinet with powder-coat finish that stands up to conditions in commercial buildings.  Door and Trim are cold rolled steel with white powder-coated finish.  The cabinet doors are attached with a continuous hinge and equipped with zinc-plated handle and roller catch. All models have 1-3/4" trim on face and door. The door is a Solid Door Style of clear acrylic glass. Comes with SAF-T-LOK™ theft-deterrent keyed cylinder lock. This lock can be used instead of a break glass lock lever. Cabinets with SAF-T-LOK™ lock appear to be locked and in fact are, but the door can be opened with a sharp pull which breaks the replaceable plastic cam. This deters theft and vandalism and allows quick access to the extinguisher. Replacement cams can be ordered. Recessed Cabinet and handle protrude 1-1/8" from the surface.  The tub is constructed of cold rolled steel with white powder-coat finish standard.

The 2015G10-FX2 comes with clear acrylic glazing standard.  The 2015G17-FX2 comes with clear tempered glass glazing (optional above).  The 2015G18-FX2 comes with laminated safety glass glazing (optional above).

Fire-Rating: The recessed and semi-recessed Fire-FX2™ cabinets are tested to maintain one and two hour fire-rated wall barriers, in accordance with ANSI/UL-1479 (ASTM E814 and ULC/CAN S115) for membrane and penetration firestrops. Installation instructions must be strictly adhered to in order to obtain the fire rating. The installation of any fire-rated cabinet which lacks a cabinet door or a condition in which the door is left ajar, will void the fire rating.
